The Archangels are fighters, but they're also guardians first and foremost. I swear to you, you don't have to be afraid.
[He holds her head closer to his chest to shield her; there is no way the force isn't straining her. He will not do what the other despicables have done; she has proved her strength to him time and time again, even holding strong when he could not.]
[He nods, spreading out his additional two wings to aide his body as he began burning more energy. They were only one state out now, and he could see the mountains easily with his vision. Again he begins to lower his altitude, flying straight toward the fog surrounding the plains of rock. The sun is nearly set, and he is satisfied with his timing. She will be safe.]
[He swoops down through the peaks and toward the small rows of houses spread amongst them. It takes him several more minutes to find his own, but he does, and lands smoothly on the large wrap around, wooden porch. He sets on her feet and lets her go carefully, giving her space to walk away from him.]
[He gets back up to his feet and enters the house, going straight to the kitchen for water. It's dark inside, and he doesn't bother with the lights. Water is the importance, and he finds her a bottle. He steps outside again a few seconds later and holds it out to her.]
[She stands, grabbing her bag in one hand and keeping her bottle in the other. She heads inside, using her powers to light the place up a little as she finds a place to sit down.]
[He lets her sit, and stands by the door. He looks to be in a small bit of pain, and winces a little as the colour drains from his face. He's forcing himself to shapeshift, and the exhaustion just grows as he returns to normal.]
[He watches her, pushing himself away from the door and walking gingerly toward the couches. He drops down to the one across from her, folding his arm over his face. He's tired]
[He just rolls onto his side and watches her silently, letting her get done what needs to be done. They have time to work everything out while they're here; he'll let her stay as long as she needs.]
