[Alison steps away from him, shaking before she just lets herself drop down. She pushes her hands through her hair and nods as she just sits.]

Yes.

It will only last a couple of seconds. Do you want a drink?

[He doesn't move closer to her, just crouches and stares at her.]

[She looks up and only nods again.]

[He gets back up to his feet and enters the house, going straight to the kitchen for water. It's dark inside, and he doesn't bother with the lights. Water is the importance, and he finds her a bottle. He steps outside again a few seconds later and holds it out to her.]

[She takes it from him and drinks. Now that he's not holding her anymore, she's not so scared. Still, though, she's uneasy. It's hard not to be.]

[He notices her ease up a bit; her body language is not as defensive]

Do you want to go inside and sit down?

Okay.

[She stands, grabbing her bag in one hand and keeping her bottle in the other. She heads inside, using her powers to light the place up a little as she finds a place to sit down.]

[He lets her sit, and stands by the door. He looks to be in a small bit of pain, and winces a little as the colour drains from his face. He's forcing himself to shapeshift, and the exhaustion just grows as he returns to normal.]

Do you...want blankets?

I'm okay.

[She just draws her knees to her chest and stares forward.]

[He watches her, pushing himself away from the door and walking gingerly toward the couches. He drops down to the one across from her, folding his arm over his face. He's tired]

I'm sorry.

[Her eyes flicker towards him, and she's happy that he's normal again.]

I'm fine.

[He raises his arm and looks over at her]

You will be.

Action

I have to do something.

[She takes out her comm and turns it back on.]

[He just rolls onto his side and watches her silently, letting her get done what needs to be done. They have time to work everything out while they're here; he'll let her stay as long as she needs.]
