I know she made her own choices, but I still blame myself because I should have kept in contact with her, but I didn't. I just...forgot her. Who does that?

Maybe someone named Alison who was ditched by her sister Lois? Maybe you when you went to do better things with your life while she whined and sulked about hers and used that as an excuse to become a freakshow killer instead? She's just as responsible for screwing off on you as you are on her.

May I be so bold to suggest that maybe just stop spending so much time trying to make things up to her, and maybe try and settle this with her like a grown up? If she's not willing to co-operate, then she's not willing to co-operate. But you can't keep beating yourself up over it.

I'm just always worried she's going to hurt someone, and that makes me cautious about everything I do with her.
